CampusKids Daycare
Bright, colourful and full of life: our CampusKids nursery on the ground floor of Hall of Residence 7 is more than just a childcare centre – it’s a place where children and their families can feel at home, play and explore.
And best of all: there are still places available!
Who is it for?
All children aged from eight weeks to pre-school age are very welcome at our nursery.
When?
We’re here for you from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Closing times?
Our closing periods are generally aligned with the school holidays and the academic terms at Otto von Guericke University and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. We will announce the exact dates at least one year in advance. Should our closing periods coincide with exam periods, emergency childcare will be provided.
What makes our nursery so special:
With a well-thought-out spatial concept tailored to the children’s individual needs and interests, we create an environment in which children feel safe and can actively explore their world.
Thanks to our central location right in the heart of the city and directly on the university campus, our nursery is easily accessible for students and working people. Nordpark and the River Elbe – popular destinations for the children – are also within walking distance.
Every week, we head off together to the university’s large sports hall – fun, games and exercise guaranteed! Our very own chef from the canteen team conjures up fresh, varied and healthy meals every day – exclusively for the CampusKinder!
Community is a top priority for us. We love going on outings or organising events with the families, such as cooking and baking, craft sessions or a bike ride. Our popular nursery brunch brings families and staff together in a relaxed atmosphere. The different nationalities on offer create a colourful, intercultural buffet!
Thanks to the CampusKinderZimmer, there are flexible childcare options available for students’ children even after the nursery’s regular opening hours – perfect for off-peak times or last-minute childcare. Both services complement each other perfectly!
Has this sparked your curiosity?
